Trust and transparency
Editorial Policy
How Safe Haven creates, reviews, and updates survivor-centered content.
How content is created
Safe Haven publishes original educational writing informed by established domestic violence organizations, survivor-centered principles, and reputable technology-safety resources. We paraphrase rather than copy source material and link readers to primary organizations for current services.
Safety review
Content is reviewed for nonjudgmental language, privacy risks, graphic detail, victim-blaming, and unsafe one-size-fits-all instructions. We distinguish general education from professional advice and place urgent support information where readers can find it quickly.
Corrections and updates
Hotline numbers, laws, programs, and technology change. We review high-impact resources periodically and correct verified errors. Readers may report concerns to contact@safehavensupporthub.help.
Advertising independence
Advertising and donations do not determine our safety guidance or editorial conclusions. Ads are visually separated from content, and we do not endorse an advertiser merely because an ad appears on the site.
